Krebs was probably most known for his accomplishments at the Riverside Park Speedway, where he won three modified, two sportsman, and two grand national championships. He also took down six Riverside 500 wins, with his 1st coming as a teammate of Jocko Maggiacomo. Other Riverside 500 wins came with teammates Benny Germano, Gene Bergin, Ed Flemke, Sr., Jerry Humiston, and Ed Patnode. Buddy was a winner at the Westboro Speedway, as well as at the Plainville Stadium, Millers Falls, and Candlelight Stadium. He won at Thompson and Stafford, as well.

Buddy has run at tracks up and down the East coast, including Langhorne, PA. and Daytona. Fans remember him driving the #502 at tracks like Candlelight Park, Plainville, and Riverside. He drove the familiar 10 pins car at Riverside, Stafford, Thompson, and Westboro. He was also strongly associated with the “Flying Zero”.The Eastern States track was another one of Krebs’ “regular” stops.

Buddy is a founding member of NEAR, and was inducted into the Riverside Park Hall of Fame in 1997. In 1998, he was voted as one of the Stafford Speedway’s fifty greatest drivers.
